Reduit National

Titledesign – Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg

In 1940, the Swiss Army Command gave orders to build a comprehensive bunk network in the Swiss Alps, the „Réduit national“. For this reason, many valleys and mountains of the Swiss Alps are obscured, one of these bunkers is located near the village of Sufers, which is portrayed in the film.

For the title sequence, a large number of historical maps were reproduced and animated. At the same time the hidden, which lies in and under the mountains, is visualized to support the mood of the film.
